Inspired by real events, SHOSHANA is a political thriller set in the 1930s in Tel Aviv, a brand new European, Jewish city being built on the shores of the Mediterranean. Thomas Wilkin is in love with the city and with Shoshana Borochov. Through their relationship the film explores the way extremism and violence pushes people apart, forcing people to choose one side or the other.

Im polnisch-mazedonischen Drama muss eine queere Frau versuchen, irgendwie ihre kleine Patchwork-Familie zu retten. Das Hauptproblem dabei: Plötzlich muss sie zur Mutter für die kleine Tochter ihrer Partnerin werden, da diese selbst nicht bereit ist, Mutter zu sein.

Der Film wird als Nord Mazedonischer Beitrag ins nächste Rennen um den Oscar 2024 ins Rennen gehen!
